Senior Embedded Penetration Tester (Ethical Hacker)

We at CES are constantly looking for applying all the actual state-of-the-art cybersecurity solutions, enabling us to secure the next generation of technological cars. We are building up a new penetration test team, with focus of product validation, to join a multidisciplinary team working on automotive projects.

- Conduct Cybersecurity Penetration Testing: Execute cybersecurity penetration testing on automotive products to evaluate the system's security posture.
- Advanced Security Analysis: Perform advanced security code analysis to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
- Develop Testing Infrastructure: Create and maintain an infrastructure to establish a software testing environment capable of conducting comprehensive security testing, including fuzzing tests, code analysis, and dynamic buffer overflow detection.
- Compliance Verification: Execute generic verification tests to ensure that products align with industry security standards.
- Hardware-Level Penetration Testing: Perform manual penetration tests at the hardware level, including automotive buses, debug interfaces, memory storage, and hardware security modules.
- Report Generation: Prepare detailed reports summarizing test results and findings for customer analysis and decision-making.
- Stay Informed: Stay abreast of the latest malware trends and emerging security threats to continuously enhance cybersecurity strategies and practices.
You will collaborate with a strong international team and see the impact of your work on streets around the globe.
- Educational Background: Possess a degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related disciplines.
- Automotive Expertise: A strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, networks, and architectures.
- Software Development Proficiency: Proficient in software development using Python, C, C++, and assembly languages.
- Software Reverse Engineering Expertise: Possess a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in software reverse engineering, including advanced proficiency in tools such as Ghidra, IDA Pro, and GDB.
- Hardware Debugging: Knowledge and experience with hardware debug interfaces such as ICE and JTAG.
- Version Control: Demonstrated experience in working with version control systems.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in international teams and with international customers.
- Proactive and Self-Motivated: Exhibit a proactive and self-motivated approach to work, along with strong team player skills.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in the English language.
- Willingness to Travel: Willingness to travel worldwide as required for the role.
