Project Manager Footprint Strategy-Execution
The Footprint Project Manager develops long term manufacturing strategies including production footprint worldwide anticipating future trends, markets and business models of our customers. He drives, leads and manages expansion or greenfield projects within a specified time, budget and quality framework to the satisfaction of the customers. He acts like an entrepreneur to propose and execute the right scope and decisions.
-Organization of Continental Automotive and Business Area product portfolio
-Analytical and strategical skills; knowledge about customer markets
-Method of product cost calculation and plant cost structure
-Automotive processes and methods (Product Life Cycle, -Quality Management System, Stages)
-Project managment tools and skills (SWOT, stakeholder analysis, risk and opportunity tracking, change management, milestone tracking, etc.)
-Moderation and presentation skills
-Working independently and self-organzined
-Manufacturing technologies, processes and lean manufacturing skills
-Problem solving (A3 charter) and lessons learned
-Financial indicators with relevance to the Footprint Project, Production Plant and Business Area
-Effective communication to stakeholders
-Knowledge of conflict management and team motivation, coaching and training techniques
-Knowlege of geopolitical situation, relationships between countries, free-trade-agreements
