Head of Manufacturing Engineering (ME) IFS SLP
The mission of the position is to plan, coordinate and control all manufacturing engineering activities in order to meet budget and production targets (e.g. maximize production equipment availability and utilization, reduce waste such as scrap and lead time). Furthermore, the Head of Manufacturing Engineering initiates and implements action plans for continuous improvement of all manufacturing engineering relevant processes.
For the time of the erection, commissioning and ramp-up of the plant (Greenfield Project) the Head of Manufacturing Engineering will act as a technical project manager and coordinate all activities for technical equipment of the plant, industrialization of processes and products, installation and ramp up of utilities and machinery.
▪ 5 or more years of professional experience in manufacturing, preferable in two functional areas, e.g. IE, quality, operations, etc.
▪ cross functional experience e.g. in maintenance, quality, supply chain or CBS preferred.
Education: ▪ university degree, preferably in production or engineering management, industrial engineering or related discipline.
Expert: Industrial engineering systems and methods (e.g. REFA, MES, TPM)
