YOUR TASKS:
Lead Business Team 2 (BT2) with a strong focus on performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with company goals and operational excellence.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Lead and coach shift supervisors and BT1 to meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
Drive strategic initiatives as a core member of BT3, removing silos and promoting cross-functional collaboration.
Set clear expectations and hold teams accountable through consistent feedback and support.
Foster a positive, caring leadership culture to boost engagement, retention, and morale.
Identify operational challenges and lead effective, data-driven solutions.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards across all shifts.
Communicate priorities and updates clearly across production, leadership, and support teams.
Develop team capabilities through regular coaching, recognition, and performance development.
Take ownership of results, proactively resolving issues before they impact goals.
Strengthen interdepartmental relationships to build a culture of teamwork and shared success.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a formal leadership role within manufacturing or production environments, demonstrating the ability to lead and inspire teams towards achieving high performance and operational goals.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role. Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., quality, safety, maintenance) to address operational challenges and drive improvements across the production department.
Proven experience in driving process optimization, including the application of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall quality. Strong background in using data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess production performance, identify improvement opportunities, and make informed decisions that drive results. Experience in providing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities for team members, creating an environment that fosters engagement, skill growth, and high employee retention. Proven ability to resolve complex operational issues, manage conflicts, and make swift, effective decisions that prevent disruptions to production and improve overall team effectiveness. Experience leading teams through organizational changes, including the implementation of new systems, processes, or technologies, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum buy-in from team members.
