Join us and take the opportunity to contribute to our future in the fundamentally changing automotive industry with your new role as Product Development Manager Electric Vehicle Drive Train (m/f/diverse) in the stand-alone business area Original Equipment Solutions.

The goal of product platform development is laying the foundation of innovation for the business area OESL to be the leader for highly developed and intelligent products for the automotive industry as the best solutions for each of our customers in each of our markets. In your role as the owner of product platform electric vehicle (EV) drive train, you are leading the related activities and drive for the following goals:

• Execute product technology strategy and technical product management based on the overall R&D strategy for the worldwide product landscape of BA OESL
• Create and maintain a customer-centric technological or product development concept, transfer the concept into innovation projects or R&D projects, coordinate the development team to ensure the success of innovation / R&D projects and design concepts
• Develop product platform related technical understanding and product requirements, build up EV drive train related product and system knowhow, transfer the knowhow to the technical team to support new technology development and business development
• Interface with the product platform related function team, suppliers / partners,
• Collaboration of development of product platform related material, test method and device, technology and process, virtual validation method and device, design concept for customer etc.
• Coordinate the transfer of new development to business team including application engineering, sales (training, tech talk etc.) 

• Academic degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, automotive engineering, chemistry or materials science, polymer science etc.
• Many years experienced in the area of engineering / development in rubber material, product and / or process development experience within automotive industry
• In-depth knowledge about EV drive train
• In-depth project management skills 
• Business fluent English and fluent German language skills written and spoken
• Experienced in working with an international team
• Far-reaching presenting skills
• Willingness to travel (approx. 20-30 %)
