THE POSITION

The Ford Customer Sales Intern will gain experience and knowledge in the following:

  • Creating, developing, and maintaining reports on behalf of the VP and Customer Account Management team, as required
  • Event Management
  • PowerPoint presentations or org charts for management, as requested
  • Delivery Shortage Tracking / Analysis
  • Power BI tool development
  • Data Analysis (Production Forecasts, tracking various reports)
  • Work closely with customer sales team members and extended Continental team members in Business Areas and Central Functions.
  • Support and organize internal and external meetings
  • Administrative duties related to event management (name tags, catering, room set-up, etc.)
  • Other assignment as requested

Profilja

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program
  • Able to work 40 hours during the summer and then a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri)
  • Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8
  • Minimum sophomore standing or higher
  • Able to commute to our Auburn Hills, MI office 2-3 days/week
  • Proficient with MS Office tools such as Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, etc.
  • Basic understanding of project management
  • Excellent data retrieval and analysis skills
  • Able to work in fast paced area, juggling multiple topics and contracts.
  • Excellent writing and verbal skills
  • Work well with internal and external team members

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Junior standing or higher
