Feladatok
An IT DevOps Engineer is an IT generalist and partly specialist who should have a wide-ranging knowledge of both development and operations, including coding, infrastructure management, system administration, and DevOps toolchains. Working style is: 'Going beyond a single role'.
You will collaborate with development teams to design and implement efficient CI/CD pipelines based on Artifactory that enable the rapid and reliable delivery of software applications and infra platforms with high quality and in a secure way.
You need to foster effective collaboration between development, operations, and QA teams. Act as a bridge between development and operations, ensuring smooth handover and knowledge sharing. Make sure understand customer needs, processes and value. Customer and DevOps needs to collaborate to design solutions and reach the same target (value of co-creation). Writing Software and Scripts to support Business Needs.
Profilja
- Strong knowledge of software development practices, including version control, build systems, and automated testing especially in the area of CI/CD and Artifactory
- Experience in ITSM tools like BMC for Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management
- Proficiency in scripting and/ or coding languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell etc.
- Experience with configuration management tools and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with infrastructure provisioning and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging software applications, infrastructure components, and deployment processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong documentation skills to create clear and concise technical documentation.
- Information & Cybersecurity Operations, Tools and Applications and how they fit into the DevOps cycle.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- At least 3 years professional experience as an IT DevOps Engineer.
- Valid DevOps certification from certified institute is a plus.
- Good English language skills spoken and written (German is a plus).
