Hybrid Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer Air Supply Unit (pneumatic, bracket) - Sibiu SAM R&D

Check out your future responsibilities below:

• Develop mechanical components for pneumatic air compressor, manufactured through machining, casting, plastic injection or sheet metal design
• Actively participate in project meetings and in interdisciplinary teams
• Solve mechanical design work packages with appropriate complexity in close cooperation with other departments / locations
• Support the preparation of the product specifications and design
• 3D development in CATIA
• Prepare detailed drawings, assembly drawings and documentation
• Schedule and track own tasks within the framework of a given plan, reports status and deviations
• Know and adhere to the defined development processes
• Realize tolerance studies
• Come up with ideas regarding cost reduction of existing components

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• University degree in TCM, Production Machines and Tools or relevant
• Experience in Computer Aided Design (C.A.D.)
• Advanced level of English and/or German language
• Knowledge of materials and production technology, design to cost
• Knowledge of design guidelines and tolerance calculation
• Proactive and adaptable to a multinational environment
• Good knowledge in plastic injection or sheet metal 

Desirable Skills/Qualifications:

• Knowledge of CATIA V5
