R&D Software Integrator for Software Platform Development (m/f/d) REF16937P

As a software integrator (m/f/diverse) you are responsible for the integration of the software items and the related software integration tests in a complex organizational and technical environment. You define and refine the software integration plan based on the software architecture and the project plan. You support in defining and ensuring software implementation requirements and constraints (build management and process).

Your tasks will focus on the following activities:

• Drive integration aspects that support efficient build execution
• Create and update software build environment
• Create and provide software versions (manually or automatically) for test and release
• Support setup of test environment for software integration test
• Maintenance of automated CI/CT build and test environment
• Integration of software items that are released by a software developer (incl. third party) to generate/provide a complete software product
• Perform software configuration management
• Contribute to the refinement of the software integration plan
• Ensure baselines consistency
• Collect and communicate software KPI's
• Provide evidence for compliance of software components and software items with the software architectural design
• Ensure basic functionality with acceptance test
• Ensure traceability between architectural design and test cases/report
• Identify and analyse integration process anomalies and drive improvements

• Academic degree in electrical engineering, computer science or comparable qualification
• Experience in product development
• Experience with Linux build environment (Yocto, BitBake, script languages)
• Experience with real time systems for several years is beneficial
• Knowledge and experience with JIRA is beneficial
• Excellence knowledge in software Integration and software integration test
• Knowledge in continuous integration
• High level of competence in software configuration, build management, problem resolution and change management
• Knowledge in Agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban/etc.)
• Scaled agile framework (SAFe) knowledge is beneficial
• Very good written and spoken German and English language skills
• High level of technical competence
• International and intercultural competency
