● Plan and align technology strategy in production
● Harmonize technologies (machine, method, material) worldwide
● Initialize and lead harmonization projects
● Standardization and continuous improvement of existing technologies in Operations
● Support worldwide ramp of new technologies and design for manufacturing
● Setup and maintain network of technology partners
● Ensure benchmark and transfer of best practices
● Support in case of local crisis issues
● Map required technology competencies of plants
● Foster gap closure, know how transfer and training
● Create and align roadmap for (new) technologies
● Scan market trends and involve internal and external suppliers
● Evaluate and introduce new technologies and products



Essential Skills/Qualifications:

● Univeristy degree in technical field (preferably HW Engineering)
● Experience in a plant IE or technology department > 7 years in a field related to solderability of electronical components (paste printing, placing of components, reflow soldering, etc..)
●  KnowHow in electrical components, packages, structure, suppliers, etc.
●  KnwoHow in  layout of PCB's
●  KnowHow in reflow solder process, paste printing, IPC norm, etc. 
●  KnowHow in handling and dealing with Component suppliers
●  Basic Knowhow in component quality and automotive test requirements
● Project Experience in technology field > 5 years (technology project, process implementation project etc.)
● English communication mandatory (international networt and teams)
● Experience in working with international teams
● Preferred experience working abroad
● Understanding of different foreign cultures
