Sequencing Planner (Working in Shift)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sequencing Planner to join our team in Rayong, Thailand. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal production output and size achievement through efficient sequencing of production areas in tire manufacturing.

  • Sequence production in tire manufacturing areas, including curing, green tire assembly, component, sub-components, and compound to achieve optimal output and size targets
  • Utilize SAP PP/CGMS and related modules to manage production sequencing effectively
  • Monitor order achievement for all responsible production processes within the shift
  • Initiate and communicate corrective actions and changes to the order sequence to minimize production losses
  • Optimize lot size and stock structure to ensure adequate compound supply for cold and hot preparation
  • Coordinate with Release Team to expedite compound release and decision-making processes
  • Collaborate with PI & CM Coordinator to define sufficient recipes for autonomous operation during shifts
  • Support Master Planner in pre-planning process, ensuring consideration of Mixing constraints
  • Track weekly compound complexity and prepare monthly POR charts and Order Achievement reports
  • Work closely with ETO/ISD team to plan appropriate amounts of compounds and master rolls
  • Coordinate with Plant Operation to manage raw material and compound demand fluctuations in the production sequence
  • Analyze daily size achievement KPI fulfillment and implement necessary corrective actions
  • Control and coordinate phase-out processes for tire production

Votre profil

  • Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field
  • Proven experience in production processes, sequencing functions, or logistics-related roles
  • Proficiency in SAP PP/CGMS and related modules
  • Strong analytical and planning skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
  • Experience in tire manufacturing industry (preferred)
  • Theoretical knowledge of manufacturing, industrial engineering, or process engineering
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work effectively in a shift-based environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • Team player with a collaborative approach to work
  • Adaptability to changing production demands and priorities

  • The candidate should be opened to multi-skilling and potential moves within the Sequencing department
  • The position requires to adjust the plan after 5PM and over the weekend. Working hours within the limit of the German Due Diligence Law (60 hours)
