Group Leader PI Construction (determined) - Tires

Vos activités

  • Oversee and manage a group of engineers responsible for the industrialsation of new products and processes;
  • Ensures the onboarding of new team members as coach;
  • Actively monitor the performance of team members and identify improvement measures;
  • Optimize the performance of each team member;
  • Optimize the team performance;
  • Assure planning and execution prototype tires building in according with central requierements and plant capacity;
  • Set methods/procedure to support prototype quality and efficiency according to corporate and plant standards;
  • Assure in time introduction of new technologies to support new product introduction;
  • Prioritize and plan the start of production in accordance with corporate requirements and plant capacity ;
  • Looks for new ways to improve efficiency, product quality, reduce complexity and costs;
  • Coordinates and monitors the progress of the start of production phase and ensure implementation of improvement measures;
  • Monitors initial production and identify quality improvement measures to ensure successful and in time completion of product introduction phase;
  • Initiate risk assessment of new technologies;
  • Keep a balance between new technologies and complexity in the plant;
  • Offers support in case of problems with certain products or processes;
  • Develop new guidelines to improve product quality;
  • Collaborates with Design, Process, Manufacturing departments to solve product and production problems;
  • Manages the introduction of new products and the technical assistance of production, for a specific product or group of products, after the transfer from the design to the internal production.

Votre profil

  • Technical University Degree - preferred Mechanical/Mechatronics;
  • Previous professional experience as Product Industrialization Construction Engineer, minimum 5 years;
  • Advanced systems for tires specifications and evaluation tools;
  • Specific product knowledge (component specification, components Bill of Materials, component calculation);
  • Design guideline knowledge (central and plant guideline);
  • SPS methodology and tools;
  • Previous experience in external projects, in an international setting;
  • Previous experience in leading teams/strategic projects;
  • English - minimum B2.
