Principal Engineer on Test Development - TOM - A OT TM

Technical Operation Management (TOM) is the department which is handelling engineering topics related to semiconductor manufacturing process.
As a Principal / Senior Engineer on Test Development you will:
- Define, procure and build the test infrastructure required for IC component development, testing, and qualification according to Design and Quality needs.
- Compare different test systems and solutions in regards of cost, maintenance, availability and risk.
- Align and optimize test infrastructure between different R&D development centers, external suppliers and OSAT companies.
- Define Criteria and prepare 'Make/Buy' Decision whether to build up internal Test Environment or order tests from external Test Houses.
- Analyze planned Test Strategy and define required Test Infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize the usage load of the test infrastructure to ensure efficient and cost-effective availability.
- Prepare and present reports on test infrastructure status, performance metrics, and key milestones to management.
- Evaluate capability of external Partners in regard of knowledge, quality and agility.
- Plan, maintain and assess qualification of Test Infrastructure according to norms and standards.
- Document capabilities, design and integration of Test Infrastructure.
Votre profil
- Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering (or relevant) with minimum five years’ working experience in semiconductor (e.g., process or product), or subcon management (e.g., Foundries or OSAT).
- Good knowledge in semiconductor manufacturing processes (e.g., wafer process technologies and package assembly), electronic testing (e.g., DFT, Test Hardware, Test Development) and automotive electronic qualification requirements (e.g., AEC-Q100/101).
- Preferable with strong technical proficiency in DFT, Test development and test programming.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (e.g., Business English, Presentations) to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, results oriented and a quality-focused mindset.
- Team player with proactive attitude, able to work independently and travel occassionally
