Data Platforms

  • Design, implement and manage OESL's data platforms to ensure a stable, secure and sustainable foundation for all data driven applications and reporting use cases.
  • Be a part of OESL’s data strategy, striking the perfect balance between cost, flexibility, performance, and innovation.
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and seamless integration of cutting-edge data warehousing technologies, tools, and services.

Implementation and Optimization

  • Deploy and manage data platforms (e.g. SAP BW, Power BI, Databricks) based on industry best practices to ensure performance and availability targets are met.
  • Continuously enhance data processing capabilities by optimizing performance, reducing costs, and strengthening security measures.

Governance and Compliance

  • Ensure platform setups adhere to regulatory requirements and security standards such as ISO and GDPR.
  • Implement and enforce governance frameworks for cloud resources, emphasizing data privacy, access control, and compliance.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with cross-functional technical leaders to align data strategies with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams to drive seamless adoption and integration of cloud services across OESL.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external service providers, staying ahead of emerging trends and technologies.

Votre profil

Qualifications

We’re seeking a skilled Data Platform Operator to design, implement and maintain our Data Platforms. Key skills and expertise include:

  • Data Platforms: Experience with design, implementation and management of business warehouses or reporting platforms. Preferably, based on SAP BW, Databricks or Power BI.
  • Data Driven Applications: Experience with design, setup and operation of data integration workflows, ETL processes across multiple systems or reporting (e.g. based on Power BI)
  • Data Governance & Security: Familiarity with central regulations (e.g. GDPR) and common data governance approaches.
  • Cost Optimization: Ability to manage platform related budgets and optimize resource use effectively.
  • Agile and DevOps: Knowledge of collaborative workflows and modern deployment practices.
  • Project Management: Experience in leading projects from design to implementation and steering of external suppliers.
