We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Business Partner Export Control & Sanctions (BP EC&S) EMEA to serve as the interface for the regions. The BP EC&S will support the Export Control Coordinators and the Export Control Department with specific requests, leveraging their local and worldwide knowledge and experience in Export Control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regional Interface: Act as the primary interface for the regions, facilitating communication and coordination between regional teams and the Export Control Department.
- Support for Export Control Coordinators: Provide assistance to Export Control Coordinators and the Export Control Department on specific requests and issues.
- Knowledge and Experience Keeper: Maintain and share expertise in local and international Export Control regulations, serving as the go-to resource for the organization.
Main Activities:
- Business Partner Screening: Support the screening of existing and new business partners with reference to final destination and end-use, ensuring compliance with international sanction lists.
- Product Classification: Assist in the classification of products, equipment, and technology according to national and international Dual Use Lists.
- Project Team Support: Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding business activities involving embargoed countries or sensitive customers/suppliers, including products, equipment, software, and technology.
Votre profil
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or a related field
- Several years of international import/export and trade compliance experience, in international business projects
- Extensive experience in export control and sanctions compliance
- Additional experience in other operations area (Law, Economics)
- Strong understanding of global technical standards and processes
- Fluent English language skills written and spoken
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Effective communication and advisory skills
- Ability to lead and manage projects and crises
- Proficiency in IT systems related to export control and sanctions
