The Time & Attendance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient timekeeping and attendance management for all employees across multiple entities within the organization. This role involves handling a diverse workforce, including both blue-collar and white-collar employees, with a focus on managing complex overtime calculations, leave administration, and attendance discrepancies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with various HR systems and technologies.  A critical aspect of this role is ensuring 100% accuracy in providing Loss of Pay (LOP) inputs to the payroll team each month.

Time & Attendance Management:

  • Manage time and attendance for employees across multiple locations / entities.
  • Administer timekeeping systems, ensuring accurate recording of employee hours worked.
  • Handle complex overtime calculations for blue-collar employees, considering various pay rules and regulations.
  • Address and resolve attendance discrepancies, including overlapping attendance records.
  • Manage gate pass records and ensure proper documentation.
  • Process written leave applications from blue-collar employees.
  • Accurately track and display Loss of Pay (LOP) status for employees on notice period.
  • Oversee access control systems and ensure seamless integration with local attendance systems.
  • Maintain employee data within the time and attendance system.

Leave Administration:

  • Manage annual leave year-end activities, including leave computation, encashment, carry forward, and allocation of new leave as per company policy.
  • Handle leave balance transfers for employees during inter-entity transfers.
  • Provide input to Payroll input for encashment as per eligibility or when employee exits.

Payroll Support:

  • Provide accurate and timely LOP inputs to the payroll team each month, ensuring 100% accuracy to prevent payroll discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the payroll team to resolve any payroll-related issues related to time and attendance.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify areas for improvement in time and attendance processes.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to streamline operations and increase efficiency.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate regular reports on employee attendance, overtime, and leave utilization.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and potential issues.

Votre profil

Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: 6+ years of proven experience in time and attendance management, preferably in a multi-location environment.

  • Knowledge of HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, SuccessFactors, any Time & Attendance tool
  • Familiarity with labor laws related to time and attendance.
