The Product Manager is responsible for managing the Aftermarket Product Line and other comparable product categories and programs, including any/all new product or line extensions developed or sourced by Continental. The Product Manager will also develop and manage any/all existing or future external strategic supplier and/or distribution strategies within the category. The Product Manager is responsible for overall product category profit & loss.
- Manage Product Category Profit & Loss and as well Product Growth, Strategy & Positioning
- Direct Forecasting and Market Pricing
- Develop Business Cases for new products
- Manage Product Life Cycle
- Develop Sales Tools and conduct Annual Updates
- Direct Competitive Benchmarking
- Conduct Application and Market Research
- Manage Sales & Cost Budgeting
- Develop and implement Promotion(s) of existing and new products
- Direct Portfolio Management
- Continuous Product Improvement
- Product validation & first piece inspection
- Product photography, attribute, and applications
Votre profil
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors AND 2 years of Product Management, or Product Development or Aftermarket Catalog Management OR 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- General Understanding of Automotive
- Flexibility to support 10% Domestic/International Travel
