Application Engineer

• Lead of application engineering projects/ topics during the development process, communicating with internal functions/departments and external stakeholders, to make sure development is done according to timing, budget and quality target;
• Responsible for technical calculation(brake system by Bremse6/7, EPB clamp force, tolerance, force, etc.);
• Responsible for technical definition of product in vehicle, 3D& 2D design according packaging condition;
• Responsible for technical feasibility commitment with internal IE & external suppliers;                                  
• Responsible to prepare release related documents and get application products released internally(MLC);
• Responsible for EPB system release and part of release documents, including FSM and QA reviews with respective responsibles;
• Responsible to achieve engineering approval sign-off from customer;
• Responsible for OTS release, change/deviation release in regard to ME topics;         
• Coordinate customer technical requirement analysis(specification, SOR, etc.);
• Preparation of internal Technical Product Definition and customer TA documents;
• Share task with Purchasing on definition of sub suppliers;                                  
• Milestone plan including releases (timing, content, desired product maturity). Project Team to give input for responsibilities. System PM integrates timings from project team into overall timing;
• Work Package planning;
• Prepare and maintain Risk&Action&Opportunity list;
• Coordination of customer test parts/vehicles and organizing evaluation and assessment of vehicle testings(with support from project team);
• Approval of test reports (static, dynamic, vehicle, suppliers);
• Responsible to direct problem solving;
• Responsible to lead problem analysis with A3, for problems during development or for support of customer/plant after SOP;
• Responsible to escalate to upper management, to avoid potential loss of company business/reputation;                                
   

• Catia& EWM knowledge, excellent MS office, project, PPT, Excel, MKS EPB system release tools                                     
• Clear understanding Conti system development & release process, test strategy                                    
• Communication skill with local customer & internal IPT(leading meeting, presentation)                                    
• Brake product function and component                                    
• Project planning & structuring, , decision making, risk management                              
• WBS release process, gate reviews, MLC release, PLC, change management                                    
• ASPICE/ISO26262
