Our Auburn Hills, MI, location is seeking a highly self-motivated and detail-oriented Deployment Engineer to join the Autonomous Mobile Robots team at Safety and Motion. The ideal candidate has a background in either Program Management, Sales, or Engineering and will be responsible for solution design, customer consultancy, and installation of mobile fleets within multiple industries, such as automotive, food and beverage, or distribution.

THE POSITION

  • Operationally steer the business to achieve budget & financial targets for NA
  • Preparing, proposing & arguing the budget for the upcoming year                         
  • Positioning Continental in a highly agile market environment as a top OEM for Mobile       
  • Robots in intralogistics
  • Create and execute the right strategy (Markets, Products, Partners) to meet our growth
  • Defining the right operating model for the region (Governance, Processes, Tools)
  • Build up high-performance teams & development of people
  • Constantly adjust the Organization while scaling up towards >30 people                      
  • Define the regional Marketing & Sales strategy and track execution                               
  • Ensure achievement of regional Order Intake target                                           
  • Ensure superior customer experience by setting up a holistic customer execution team (incl. Project Mgmt., Sales & After-Sales Management)                                                    
  • Act as escalation path for key customers in the region                                                     
  • Representing the regional business towards internal & external stakeholders                 
  • Support decision upon the right global product roadmap by including the market view into the decision
  • Ensure local for local approach with the regional requirements

Votre profil

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Law, Engineering or similar discipline or 14 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in positions with external stakeholders. Held positions with a broad bandwidth of topics across functions to understand how a business holistically needs to be run
  • Minimum 5 years leading complex projects to gain experience in managing complexity
  • Minimum 2 years of direct or indirect leadership role
  • Strong Stakeholder Management and experience in communicating and working with intercultural teams
  • Experienced in Marketing & Sales Strategy
