Vos activités

  • Ensure intelligence radar, subject matter expertise and evaluation of developments on international standards, regulations, market practices and relevant expert discourse on human & environmental rights
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the adequateness of relevant frameworks, methodologies, preventive measures and remedial action with dedicated subject matter expertise
  • Continuously integrate relevant new topics into the Responsible Value Chain Due Diligence System (RVCDDS), especially with regard but not limited to Corporate Citizenship & Community Engagement, Biodiversity and Rights Holders Engagement, including the establishment of new frameworks and processes where relevant
  • Continuously evaluate RVC-related concerns and incidents reported in the incident management with dedicated subject matter expertise
  • Evaluate the results of the RVC risk analysis with regard to relevant patterns as well as specific risk evaluations
  • Develop and manage relevant processes to include the perspectives of communities and rights holders into the RVC system
  • Build up and maintain the global focal point of subject matter expertise regarding fundamental human and environmental rights, relevant Corporate Citizenship & Community Engagement, Biodiversity, Rights Holders Engagement and other new responsible value chain topics
  • Implement, maintain and improve internal and external networks regarding dedicated subject matter expertise
  • Support special projects relevant for the RVC system (e.g. UFLPA, forced labour, …) with dedicated subject matter expertise
  • Contribute to the different core processes of the RVCDDS especially the Regulations Management, RVC Risk & Impact Management, Incident Management and Training
  • Support customer & investor dialogue on human and environmental rights
  • Actively contribute to the successful implementation of Continental's sustainability ambition

Votre profil

  • Academic degree in relevant field or comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in related role as a subject matter expert in sustainability, at best with human rights focus
  • Background and experience in more than one industry or outside industry desirable
  • Profound Know-How and subject matter expertise in frameworks, standards, market practices and regulations with regard to Responsible Value Chain & Human Rights Due Diligence (UNGP, ILO, OECD, UNGC, GDDL, CSDDD, UFLPA, …) and relevant sustainability policies and frameworks, standards (CSRD, ESRS, GCGC, …)
  • Profound Know-How and subject matter expertise in relevant fields of RVC topics, including but not limited to fundamental human and environmental rights as well as Corporate Citizenship & Community Engagement, Biodiversity and Rights Holders Engagement
  • Fluent English language skills (written and spoken), German language skills desirable
  • Precise analytical and conceptual skills
  • Profound experience in iterative and constantly changing environments
  • Ability to communicate about highly complex topics to different audiences
  • Strong networking skills regarding internal and external networks
  • High integrity and inclusive skills
  • Curiosity and open mind to drive the transformation
  • Passion for sustainability
