Supply Chain Internship
The Supply Chain Internship at Continental is a once in a lifetime opportunity to support a new facility start-up located in New Braunfels, Texas. The $110 million facility will manufacture Advanced Driver Assistance Systems for automated and assisted driving. The Quality Engineering Internship position is a developmental role to gain practical experience in the Quality Engineering function and support the needs of the department. In this capacity, the Quality Engineering Intern will contribute to successful Engineering operations for the new facility site. This position is scheduled to last 12 weeks in length from May 20, 2024-August 9, 2024.
• Collect cycle count information.
• Formulate and implement improvement ideas in Logistics (Warehouse) operations
• Support purchasing activities and supplier communication
• Support in customer set up and deliveries to the customer
• Support in the works instruction of the department
• Support other Operations duties and projects as assigned
The SCM Intern can expect to gain practical experience in a broad range of SCM focused functions including:
• MRP/Purchasing Activities
• Negotiation with Suppliers and Customer
• Warehouse receiving
• Warehouse shipping activities
• Replenishment process
• Packaging concepts process
• EDI / Customer requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited University Degree Program
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or other related studies
• 3.0 overall GPA or higher
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
