Software Architect - ESS

Continental Automotive Systems Queretaro is looking for a Software Architect to shape our future platforms for Electronic Suspension System (ESS) - CAirS product. You will be part of an enthusiastic world-wide team of experts, in a software architecture community and team-up with different departments to define solutions for our products under development.
 

Activities: 
•    Analyze software requirements and market trends.
•    Develop and maintain the software architecture for our platforms and / or project specific.
•    Create real-time simulations using state-of-the-art tools (e.g., Inchron) and orchestrate how computing resources are used.
•    Support the team in finding the best fitting solutions, from an architectural point of view. Guide the team in the realization.
•    Review and update the software architecture with the stakeholders, according to project schedules and milestones.
•    Collaborate with third-party vendors to evaluate and/or develop key software technologies required to offer comprehensive software development.
•    Participate in selection of development/test tools and environments to enhance overall software infrastructure.
•    Contribute to the overall software quality by defining best-practice software engineering methods, including specifications, guidelines, and processes.

Qualifications:
•    University degree within the technical area.
•    Excellent analytical competences, key performance orientation, high organizational and communicational skills.
•    Open-minded, pro-active, structured, and independent workstyle.
•    Several years of experience in software development in C and / or C++ for real time embedded applications
•    Knowledge of automotive software development standards (ISO26262, ASPICE, AUTOSAR).
•    Knowledge of design principles and software modelling methods/languages (UML or SysML).
•    Business-fluent English language skills (spoken and written).
