Financial Reporting - Internal Control System

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with internal control requirements across global financial reporting processes
• Design, implement, and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial reporting risks.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits, including documentation and remediation of control deficiencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and improve control effectiveness.
• Conduct risk assessments and support the development of risk-based control strategies.
• Maintain and update internal control documentation in line with regulatory and corporate standards.
• Provide training and guidance to process owners on internal control requirements and best practices.
• Support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS/local GAAP.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial reporting and control processes.
• Monitor changes in regulations and accounting standards to ensure timely adaptation of controls.
• Assist in the development and implementation of global ICS policies and procedures.
• Report key control metrics and findings to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Long-term experience in financial reporting, internal controls, or audit (Big Four experience is a plus)
• Solid knowledge of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO, SOX) and financial reporting standards (IFRS/local GAAP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, cross-functional environment.
• Possibility to occasional travel (international).
• High level of integrity, accountability, and a proactive mindset.
