Payroll Supervisor

The Payroll Supervisor will be responsible for supervising all US payroll related activities for multiple payroll cycles, tax jurisdictions, and Federal ID numbers.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure that company payroll practices are compliant with all government regulations
- Complete/ Review payroll funding and tax reconciliations
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Assist employees to resolve issues relating to payroll inquiries in a timely manner
- Serves and backup to Payroll Coordinator for payroll processing and Garnishment administration
- Oversee PY Coordinator performance, provide guidance, identify development and training needs
- Assists with system administration, testing, and upgrades
- Calculates quarterly and annual job incentive credits
- Prepares responses to audit, regulatory and general ledger inquiries
- Assists with Tax Notice Administration, quarterly and annual tax filings where needed
- Manages employee overpayment process and taxation
- Assist Payroll Manager in monitoring workload and employee evaluations
- Special Projects and reporting as needed.
Votre profil
Basic:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business, HR, or other related field
- 5+ years Payroll Processing experience within a complex organization
- 2+ years Supervisory experience
- Detailed experience in payroll related legal regulations including garnishment administration
- Strong in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to manage projects and coordinate with other teams across the organization
- Ability to work independently to complete projects and tasks with limited supervision
- Strong Leadership skills
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future, for this job opening

Preferred:
- 7+ years Payroll Processing experience within a complex organization
- SAP Payroll experience
- Expatriate experience, incentive experience, and claims experience
- Payroll Accounting/GL knowledge
- Experience in complex payroll system and environments (multi-state, high volume, expatriate taxation, union & production locations)
