PI Material Engineer - Tires

Ensures the correct implementation by creating, planning and evaluating the tests for the new or modified rubber mixtures, based on central specifications (dosages, raw materials, process parameters) taking into consideration the process and budget while respecting the defined objectives;

Creates, plans, performs and evaluates the tests in order to continuously improve the products;

Provides support for production in order to obtain a stable process and production condition by adjusting the recipes;

Follows the specific parameters of rubber mixtures and implements the corrective actions in case of deviations in order to achieve the plant objectives;

Evaluates the rubber mixtures in prototype phase, initiates the capability studies, initiates the product optimization measures, conducts and submits the final evaluation of prototype phase;

Provides the decisions for rubber mixture compounds that are out of the quality limits;

Provides action plans in order to ensure rubber mixture industrialization;

Coordinates internal projects at plant level;

Develops new solutions and processes for continuous improvement in the plant and coordinated by Research and Development Center for the rubber mixture.

This position requires interaction on international levels with Research and Development Centers and other Continental factories.

Chemistry University Degree, preferably with exposure to polymers;

Knowledge of quality tools  and project management experience will be an advantage;

Medium English level;

Previous experience as an engineer in the production of rubber mixture field, minimum 1 year it will be an advantage.
