As an Infrastructure engineer in Vehicle Dynamics, you will work as a team member within a global engineering environment, as part of the responsibilities you will be in charge to ensure all testing equipment like HiLs (Hardware in the Loop) and test benches are available, updated and properly configured for the usage of testing groups. Creating and executing the maintenance plans of the equipment. 

During the development cycles of projects, you will have direct contact with Test Managers to align and coordinate the required test equipment. 

As a global team you will be in coordination with other locations infrastructure team members to align the usage of resources and planning of infrastructure necessities. 

Core Responsibilities:
•    HiL/Bench test stand tune-up and hardware setup
•    Setup HiL environments for different OEM's
•    Creation and execution of maintenance plans
•    Creation of contingency plans 
•    Create and follow activity logs for HIL's
•    Identify supply chain impacts of delays / issues
•    Create purchase orders and track investments
•    Manage inventory of testing equipment and tools
•    Alignment with multidisciplinary teams that work worldwide

Votre profil

Basic Qualifications:
•    BS in Engineering, electrical engineer, or equivalent degree
•    Fluent communication skills in English
•    3 + years’ experience in engineering role (Electrical, electronics, test equipment, maintenance)
•    Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
•    Strong leadership and organizational abilities
•    Willingness to build professional relationships with staff and clients
•    Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills
•    Good ownership and possibility to manage other people

Important skills for position:
Risk Management
•    Look ahead and identify potential roadblocks / issues before they occur implementing mitigation plans and communicate them properly
•    Evaluate risks based on impacts (severity) and occurrence (likelihood)

Tracking/Reporting
•    Monitor and communicate engineering project status
•    Always ready to clearly report project status/risks/issues/plan to solve
•    Clearly document and communicate technical issues, impacts, root causes, recovery plans

Technical Problem Solving & Root Cause Expert
•    Champion for Safety/Quality/Performance of the equipment
•    Resolution of complex issues that span engineering functional disciplines
•    Able to solve problems effectively and efficiently

•    Consider and rate alternatives and quote various suppliers

•    Involve all stakeholder as needed to ensure project success

Desired Qualifications:
•    Previous experience operating HiL equipment
•    Experience working with IPG systems and vector tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape)
•    Experience developing maintenance plans
•    Basic knowledge in Simulation HW & SW (HIL/SIL, CarSim/Carmaker)
•    Basic knowledge in automotive networks (CAN)
•    Basic knowledge in diagnostics (OBS, UDS)
