Telematics Test Lead
The Architecture and Network (AN) group in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Telematics Test Lead to join our team.

The Telematics Test Lead will:
- Act as the functional leader of a team of ~10 test engineers working in SW and System level testing
- Plan, track and lead the design, implementation and validation of new test cases for telematics features, change requests and defects
- Be the responsible for task breakdown, estimation lead and progress tracker
- Maintain the Test schedule, assign tasks and manage the workload
- Interface to the customer and other project stakeholders
- Organize and contribute towards the overall telematics test strategy definition
- Lead the efforts towards 100% automation
- Responsible for the validation of official customer release candidates as well as engineering releases
- Ensures traceability and test coverage
- Leads the test team to report , re-test and track defects until proper resolution
- Assist the SW teams to analyze problem reports and determine the root cause
- Responsible for estimating/quoting the test efforts for new telematics business and change requests
- Participate in sprint/PI planning, SCRUM and continuous improvement tasks
- Ensures adherence to Continental's SW development process and ASPICE practices.

- Bachelor’s degree in: Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- 5 years of experience testing embedded systems
- 3 years of experience working with CAN, UDS
- 3 years of experience developing automated test cases
- 2 years of experience with scripting (bash, python, java, perl or similar)
- Good understanding of C/C++ programming
- Experience creating/editing vehicle simulations( CAPL)
- Experience with Canoe and/or Vehicle Spy
- Experience with GIT
- Familiar with Linux User Space
- Experienced with Agile development methodologies
- Experience leading and coaching teams of test engineers
- Experience testing and troubleshooting vehicle at customer locations
- Basic understanding of AUTOSAR Classic architecture
- Basic understanding of electrical schematics
- Willingness to travel (<10% of the time)
Experience in the following topics is a plus:
- Worked as Scrum Master, Product Owner, Release train engineer, SM or other leadership Agile/SAFe roles
- Functional Safety
- Ethernet, TCP-IP
- Linux Application development
- ISTQB Certification
