IE Methods Engineer - Tires

Conducts defined and agreed projects with direct supervisor and department manager
Elaborates and updates periodically standard times for all the processes.
Maintains and updates description and evaluation of the workplaces, instructions and work methods.
Collect information regarding machines parameters and process for knowing, documenting and using correct capabilities of the machines
Generates the capacity plan, necessary numbers of transport elements and personnel plan based on volume plans (monthly forecast and budget)
Tracks and reports productive and unproductive times of the equipment
Identifies, proposes and implements actions and projects in collaboration with other departments (Production, Process, Engineering, Quality, Product industrialization, etc.) to raise the effectiveness of the equipment and processes, losses reduction, costs reduction, quality improvement.
Calculates earnings from improvement projects (collaboration with Controlling department)
Implements in their own area Continuous Improvement principles and methods
Coordinates layout creation for new machines, new storages area taking into account overall efficiency.
Identifies and implements layout changes to continuously improve the effectiveness, losses, cost reduction, ergonomics, material flow, and other relevant topics.

Technical University graduate
Two years experience in Industrial Engineering or similar
Problem solving skills: Yokoten and other Quality Tools
Specific industrial engineering knowledge: creates and evaluates working method, time study, personnel planning, capacity calculation, productivity calculation
Specific industrial engineering knowledge: Pareto, Fishbone, 5S, SMED, Man-Machine Diagram, and other industrial engineering tools
Knowledge in Project management methodology
Communication skills to share ideas and solutions and to interact with people
English language - medium level
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
Knowledge of BI tools is an advantage.
Knowledge of tires manufacturing process represents a plus.
