Principal AUTOSAR Software Engineer

The Software AUTOSAR Principal Staff is an Engineer with a strong software background, experienced in embedded SW development, AUTOSAR architecture and related development tools that acts as the area technical expert and support team in multiple projects to setup the right architecture and infrastructure.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in: Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• 10+ years of C/C++ development
• 10+ years of software development for embedded devices
• 7+ years of experience working with CAN, UDS or LIN
• 3+ years leading a SW Engineering team (project or functional)
• Expert level knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic architecture
• Experience troubleshooting with the customer on-site
• Experience leading and coaching teams of SW engineers
• Experienced defining high level solutions as well as authoring detailed designs
• Experience leading technical quotes and software effort estimation
• Experience building a Software  system architecture
• Willingness to travel (<10% of the time)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience leading embedded software development using an AUTOSAR development environment
• Experience with projects satisfying Functional Safety goals and ISO26262
• Experience working in projects with Cybersecurity requirements (TARA, Message Authentication, Certificates, HSM, Crypto, SHE, secure boot)
• Experience with Telematics products or similar automotive ECUs
• Experience participating in A-Spice official assessments  
• Knowledge of Ethernet, TCP-IP, LIN CAN protocols
