Environmental Protection Officer

Environmental tasks:

• Evaluate the environmental regulations and requirements for the implementation of process and facilities and advise how they can be complied with
• Follow up on legal regulations and evaluate their possible impact on the plant
• Reporting ESH compliance reports that related to Thai law
• Coordinate with waste operator to ensure the documentation necessary for the processes according to legal mandates.
• Coordinate with wastewater operator to ensure quality of discharged wastewater are in standard and submit report to government as required
• Responsible for Stack Monitoring & Measurement to meeting the Thai regulation
• Ensure training and competence of employees for environmental protection management systems and the related processes. 
• Develop, communicate and implement tools for awareness creation of all employees.  
• Maintain program to encourage or improve issue related to ESH
• Generate emergency preparedness plans for potential environmental incidents
• Participate in cross-site audits are requested by management

Safety:

• Ensure implementation of measures and maintain controls
• Raise awareness and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties
• Ensure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards
• Demonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate others

Management Systems:

• Monitor and Maintain ESH management systems according to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and internal standards
• Monitor and Maintain plant OH&S specific KPIs to measure performance
   

• Bachelor 's degree in Environmental engineering, Environment science or related field
• Wastewater Controller and Hazardous Materials Specialist Certification (Bor Chor)
• Safety professional level certification or comparable is preferred
• 2 years’ experience in Environmental management or Pollution management 
• 2 years of experience with administrative tasks
• Accurate communication, presentation skill, good personality and strong interpersonal skills
• Able to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner
• Communicating effectively and working under time pressure
• Fluent English and Thai Language knowledge
• Experienced in ISO14001
• Experienced in ISO45001
