The main task of the position are:
- Achieving plant goals in terms of quality, cost, assets and delivery based on approved budget, through the coordination of plant activities and optimization of plant efficiency in accordance with company guidelines.
- Responsibility for the management of plant staff
- Upholding the principles of safety, security, environmental protection and corporate social responsibility
Furthermore, you will focus on activities such :
1. Strategy Development, Implementation and Change Management
▪ derive the plant strategy from higher level strategic targets, in order to ensure the expectations of the customer and the profit of the company
▪ actively drive change processes and guide the plant and its employees through times of change
2. Entrepreneurial Responsibility, Finance/Controlling
▪ plan, optimize and control all activities in order to perform the following tasks
▪ fulfill the market/customer requirements
▪ improve plant cost structure (fix and variable)
▪ agree on adjusted targets with the Business area in case of major deviation to the budget (sales drop, product mix changes, etc.)
▪ evaluate and define activities to achieve or improve the financial and operational business goals
▪ evaluate and define actions to meet financial variations related to scrap, manufacturing and price
▪ coordinate strategies to improve inventory changes and minimize inventory
▪ ensure compliance with legal regulations (e.g. working hours, environment protection) and internal rules and procedures
3. Organizational Standards and Development
▪ align the plant and customer interfaces
▪ implement efficient organization structures, procedures and processes according to BU, BA or group standards
4. Product and Process Industrialization and Manufacturing Engineering
▪ ensure manufacturability of products within the defined responsibilities on the basis of authorized budgets within the constraints of quality, quantity, delivering and cost goals
▪ ensure capable production processes and equipment with respect to KPIs (e.g. CT standard KPIs such as routing accuracy, process performance rate, overall equipment effectiveness)
Tu perfil
- University degree in business administration, engineering or related discipline
- Several years of professional experience and experience in rubber or plastic business and understanding of its environment
- Multiple years of experience in a leadership position, preferably in operational units such as a factory, with functional and disciplinary responsibility for other individuals
- Several years of experience as a project manager in the area of lean production
- Cross-functional experience in at least 2 different functional areas
- Leadership experience of an international project involving multiple locations, preferred
- Know-how in strategic and business planning
- Knowledge of working with international teams and understanding of different foreign cultures
- Abroad experience or with a professional international assignment
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
