Senior data warehouse engineer.

We are looking for Senior data warehouse engineer who is extremely passionate about data engineering for our wide range of business applications and products targeted towards various industries and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own data-driven business applications on ContiTech’s ONE Data & Analytics Platform and work closely with the business customers, data engineers & platform Architect to develop entire data & analytics applications & key features.

• Design, implement & test data pipelines, data (warehouse) models & data mart design for specific business applications running on ContiTech’s ONE Data & Analytics Platform to meet requirements.

• Apply latest design methodologies pertaining to data warehouse modeling and data engineering ensuring pragmatic, clean and sustainable implementations.

• Support DevOps for various Data & Analytics applications • Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.

• Document solutions using flowchart, layouts, diagrams, charts etc. • Collaborate with internal teams to fix and improve the solutions.

Requirements:

• Technical Skills

• Expert in following o Scalable Enterprise Data Warehouse design concepts o SQL o Python o Delta Lake format

• Advanced knowledge in o Solution design of Data Lakehouses using DataBricks o Knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4 data domain Internal o Requirements Engineering

• Good to have o Power BI data modeling o SAP SAC data interfaces o Salesforce data interfaces o Scala o Test-driven development.

Experience

• Overall 8+ years of professional experience.

• About 5+ year of experience in data warehouse modeling

• 5+ experience in SQL, Python & data warehouse modeling

• 3+ years of experience in Lakehouse concepts, Databricks and data warehouses using SAP-data, preferably with a Sales & Finance focus

• 2+ year of experience working in Agile

Education

• Bachelor’s degree with focus on computer science / software engineering, mathematics or other natural sciences.
• MCA with professional experience
• Other relevant education streams with strong tech experiences can be considered.

Other skills

• Experience with implementing and operating large enterprise data lakehouse or data warehouse business applications

• Experience with building data & analytics applications based on SAP- and non-SAP data, preferably with specific experience with finance & sales data.

• Strong customer focus and drive to design technical solutions that focus on business value and analytical user experience

• Experience of agile software development methodologies • Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)

• Great team player and ability to work in a highly international team

• Willingness to sometimes travel nationally and internationally to various Continental locations and external development partner locations.

• Willingness & drive to learn new things.

• Experience working in tools like JIRA, Confluence, GIT, Jenkins etc.

• Contribute to data & analytics community in Contitech.

• You will be part of India Delivery center in Bangalore.
