Senior Manager Operations & Service ContiTrade IT (m/f/diverse)

As the Senior Manager Operations & Service, you are responsible for managing the running operations and service setup for the centrally managed ContiTrade system elements and applications platforms. The system environment is highly business critical and therefore needs to be "always on". In order to ensure this, you need to have the overview of all service related issues in all local country organizations.

The system landscape consists of applications and services used in 14 local country organisations, >1,500 sales branches using >20 applications on >650 servers (all ContiTrade turnover is handled via these applications) with >4,500 users. 

Your responsibilities include as well:

• Managing service related projects, including the implementation of relevant ITIL measures (e.g. incident-, change-, problem management)
• Supporting the design of a future ready EMEA wide service concept for the branch based setup; this includes the provision of proper processes and tooling for user management and monitoring of the complete application and infrastructure setup
• Becoming the owner of a proper, audit conform user management system and a monitoring solution for the complete system landscape (incl. the newly designed, cloud based ERP system eDrive365)
• Defining and monitoring relevant internal and external (service provider's) Service Level Agreements and KPIs
• Supporting IT Service Management

• Degree in computer science, engineering or other
• Several years of work experience preferably in IT 
• Experience in Project Management
• Experience in IT Service Management according to ITIL
• KnowHow of IT infrastructure and applications (incl. ERP Citrix farm, ncloud technologies, server management, ...)
• Fluent English language skills written and spoken
• German language skills are a plus but not required
• Knowledge about business processes of a trade organization preferred
• Presentation Skills
• Ability to work self-organized

ContiTrade is the strategic retail arm of the Continental Tire business in Europe. It’s business purpose is to facilitate access to the respective markets & leverage Trade opportunities in Europe, the Middle East & Africa (EMEA). The scope of the ContiTrade business ranges from selling tires to complete fleet management via tires, tire services and vehicle services, through approximately 600 equity stores and 2,300 franchise and network partners. The business scope includes sales to end consumers, business and fleet customers, wholesale and as a service partner to Continental, as well as other major tire brands. This is done physically in branches and on the road, as well as through e-commerce platforms.
