Software Engineer – Digital Cockpit Solutions

To strengthen the Interiors Team in our Porto Location we’re looking for dynamic and motivated people. As software engineer you will be developing embedded software components for the digital cockpit of the future, including instrument clusters, high performance computers and 5G telematic control units.

Core Responsibilities:

· Design and Implement embedded software components in C or C++

· Integrate, test and validate the developed software components using scripting languages

· Work in an international and agile team complying to software requirements

· Analyze and extend existing software modules according to customer requirements

· Working closely with the hardware development team during the board bring-up phase

· Cooperate in building a complex software system that serves as a platform for the vehicle of the future

Basic Qualifications:

• Very good programming skills in C and/or C++ in an embedded environment
• Ability to work in international teams and with international customers
• A pro-active and self-motivated team player
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications (is a plus):

• Degree in an engineering discipline, Computer Science or related disciplines
• Professional experience in automotive software development
• Good programming skills in scripting languages (Python, Bash)
• Knowledge in Cryptography and vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture and configuration tools
• Knowledge of POSIX or RTOS operating systems
• Experience in working with hardware debugging tools and the ability to read schematics
• Understanding of agile development processes (Scrum)
