HRIT Consultant - Global HR Master Data & Integration

Your tasks

Act as a technical development Consultant, responsible for the design, development, implementation, integration, and support of global HR applications within the HR and Communications IT landscape, with a primary focus on SAP HCM solutions.

The role is accountable for delivering scalable and reliable technical solutions that support HR business processes, ensuring seamless integration between cloud and on-premise HR systems, and driving continuous improvements in the global HR technology environment. The incumbent will work closely with HR business stakeholders, process owners, and IT teams to translate business requirements into innovative technical solutions while ensuring operational excellence and service quality.  

Strong SAP ABAP development experience is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage, particularly in developing custom enhancements, interfaces, and technical solutions supporting SAP HCM, Global Master Data (PMD), Fiori and SuccessFactors integrations.

This position is based in the IT Hub, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, and functionally reports to the Team lead of Global HR Master Data and Integration, located in Hanover, Germany.

Your profile

Education: Masters Degree, Bachelor or Diploma in Information & Communication Technology or related field.

Professional experience: 5 -10 years of IT or Industry working experience.

Project and process experience: Minimum 5 years relevant SAP project experience.

Leadership: Able to lead a small work group

International working experience: Have work experience in international teams.

Our offer

  • Technical knowledge in SAP S/4HANA HR Development, ABAP, RAP, CDS Views, AMDP, SAP Fiori, SAPUI5/OData, Business Objects, SQL, and SAP HANA would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Employee Central integrations, including Business Integration Builder (BIB), UI Mashups, data replication, and SSO setup/support, is beneficial.
  • Experience supporting global HR systems and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple regions is preferred.
