Senior Treasury Specialist

Your tasks

Cash & Liquidity Management

• Own daily corporate liquidity positions and drive the monthly/rolling cash flow forecasting process.
• Analyze forecast-to-actual variances meticulously to improve model accuracy and advise senior management on long-term liquidity strategies.
• Oversee complex bank reconciliations and resolve critical discrepancies.

Banking & Financial Operations

• Structure and manage corporate finance transactions (Bank Guarantees, Banker's Acceptances, and new/existing credit facilities).
• Actively maintain relationship management with banks; negotiate competitive credit facilities, pricing, and ensure strict compliance with loan covenants.
• Formulate and execute FX hedging strategies; lead currency exposure identification activities to mitigate market risk.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth day-to-day treasury operations.

Reporting & Analysis

• Deliver highly analytical financial reports, cash flow dashboards, and GRC reporting for executive decision-making.
• Partner with stakeholders to align treasury forecasts with annual budgeting processes.
• Review and optimize bank fee structures, interest yields, and transactional costs.

Compliance

 • Ensure absolute adherence to internal controls, treasury policies, and local/international regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the primary treasury liaison for internal and external audits; maintain pristine audit schedules
• Own the regular review, preparation, and formal registration of Treasury SOPs in POMs.

Improvement projects and Finance's activities

• Lead finance and treasury transformation projects, system enhancements (e.g., SAP/TMS upgrades), and process automation to drive efficiency.
• Continuously strive to simplify for an efficient Treasury function in term of system enhancements and process improvements.

Your profile

Required Experience

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or equivalent. Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or ACT/Treasury certifications) are highly advantageous.
  2. 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in relevant field, experience in using SAP
  3. Demonstrated experience leading or playing a core role in treasury transformation, automation projects, or system implementations.
  4. Meticulous attention to detail with zero tolerance for operational error. Self-driven individual capable of driving projects independently and mentoring junior team members.
  5. Prior exposure working within an MNC or a large corporate environment with cross-border transactions.
