(Senior) Analytics Solutions Engineer

Your tasks

As a (Senior) Analytics Solutions Engineer, you will take end-to-end ownership of business-critical analytics solutions that support decision-making across Product Management, Sales, and Strategy in EMEA (Strategy, Analytics and Marketing).

This role focuses on the design, development, and continuous enhancement of Power BI applications that translate complex data into actionable insights with measurable business impact.

You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand key challenges and ensure that analytical solutions address real decision-making needs. In parallel, you will act as a central interface to Data Engineering and IT, ensuring that requirements are translated into scalable and sustainable data solutions.

You will own and further develop already existing tools as technical key user with a strong focus on performance, usability, quality and active user management.

Your work will directly influence strategic decisions, uncover growth opportunities, and contribute to tangible business value across the organization.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Own and further develop Power BI applications and dashboard ecosystems;
  • Design analytics solutions that enable business decision-making beyond standard reporting;
  • Gather, translate and formalize business requirements into scalable technical solutions and user stories;
  • Independently acquire, integrate, transform and model data for Power BI solutions from multiple enterprise sources;
  • Build and maintain a consistent single source of truth across business-critical datasets;
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering to identify data gaps and enable integration of additional data sources;
  • Work closely with stakeholders across Business, Product, Data Engineering and IT to ensure alignment and adoption;
  • Ensure analytics solutions deliver measurable business value and continuously improve performance, usability and relevance;
  • Support rollout and continuous improvement of analytics products in collaboration with the Product Owner.

Your profile

  • University degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a comparable field;
  • Multiple years of experience in Power BI development, BI (data modeling, DAX, data integration, performance optimization);
  • Proven track record of delivering analytics solutions with measurable business impact;
  • Experience designing intuitive, user-centric BI applications with a strong focus on UX/UI;
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases;
  • Experience integrating and modeling data from enterprise sources (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Hive, Azure-based platforms; experience with Microsoft Fabric is a plus);
  • Experience collaborating with Data Engineering teams and translating business requirements into technical solutions;
  • Experience working in Agile teams using Jira and Confluence;
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with both business and technical stakeholders;
  • Structured, solution-oriented mindset with strong ownership;
  • Knowledge of automotive, vehicle, tire, or fitment data (is a plus);
  • Proficient English language skills (written and verbal);
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within EMEA.
