Your tasks

As Environmental Protection Specialist - Operations you will support the continuous improvement of environmental protection and hazardous substances management through leading implementation projects and conducting audits in the operational locations. 

Main responsibilities:

  • Support the continuous improvement of environmental protection and hazardous substances management through leading implementation projects;
  • Supports the development of relevant guidelines to ensure the fulfillment of the HSM strategy;
  • Lead the industrial hygiene standardization process for all operational locations;
  • Conduct operational line tasks for the area of Environmental Protection and Hazardous Substances management;
  • Act as key user of relevant HSM software (e.g., ChemGes, Yordas Hive).

Your profile

  • Academic degree in Chemical / Environmental / Safety Engineering, or other comparable qualification;
  • Occupational safety and health specialist (desirable);
  • Previous professional experience in chemical industry, tire R&D or manufacturing environment;
  • Knowledge in relevant chemical and environmental regulations;
  • Knowledge in occupational health and safety (OELs, risk assessment, work instructions, risk management measures);
  • Experience in technical project management;
  • Skills in software for administration of chemicals (e.g. ChemGes) and data analysis and visualization (Tableau, PowerBI), is desirable;
  • Strong in stakeholder management and in intercultural communication;
  • Proficient English language skills (verbal, written).
