Your tasks

1. Job Purpose

To perform mould and bladder changes during shift operations, ensuring safe, timely, and accurate installation in accordance with production schedules. The role supports the mould supervisor and mould shop team whilst maintaining quality and safety standards on the shop floor.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Mould & Bladder Change Operations

  • Conduct mould and bladder changes according to shift schedules and work instructions, ensuring proper handling, installation, and removal.
  • Verify mould and bladder condition before installation (cleanliness, damage, alignment) and support quick changeover activities to reduce downtime.

B. Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all quality standards, control plans, and work instructions; report abnormalities such as mould defects, alignment issues, or bladder leaks immediately to the Mould Supervisor.
  • Adhere strictly to safety procedures during mould and bladder handling, maintain proper use of PPE, and keep mould storage and working areas clean and organised in line with 5S practices.

C. Support to Mould Shop Operations

  • Assist mould shop crew with basic cleaning, part movement, mould preparation, and tagging of mould components when required.
  • Escalate issues promptly to the Mould Supervisor and log completed mould change activities accurately in shift records.
