Executive Supply Chain & Operations Manager South America

Your tasks

Responsible for  South America's Operations, including Inside Sales, Order Management, Demand & Supply Chain Planning, Imports/Exports,  Warehousing, Distribution and Non-Technical Customer Services for all Business Units in the Tire Division with the objective of achieving optimal balance between service level and the cost to serve for each sales channel.

Main Tasks:

 - Understand and Constantly Update Sales Channel Requirements with Internal Customers and Clients
 - Define and Communicate Operations Roadmap Strategy (5 years plan)
 - Define Operations Goals to achieve Sales Channels Requirements
 - Define and Sponsor Improvement Projects to support Operations Roadmap Strategy 

- Guarantee that the appropriate set of indicators are in place to track and manage performance and costs
 - Monitor operations service levels and costs and implement the short and medium term actions needed to achieve the desired level
 - Negogiate and obtain support from Supply Chain Organization and Plants worldwide to achieve the desired product availability

 - Guarantee that the appropriate set of process are in place provinding constant and reliable results to operations
 - Frequently chalenge current processes searching for opportunities to deliver better results at lower costs
 - Incorporate best practices in lean management to the delivery process
 - Guarantee that people have the right skills and tools to perform their jobs
 - Deliver a healthy and productive environment where Conti Values (Trust, Passion to Win, Freedom to Act,  and For one Another) are a reality in the workplace
 - Provide coaching to key people
 - Extensively communicates vision and provide guidance on how to achieve operational goals

Your profile

  • Bachelor Degree in Administration, Economics or Engineering.
  • Languages: Fluent Level of English, desirable Spanish, fluent in Portuguese.
  • 5 years of experience in most of the following processes: Supply Chain Planning, Service Provider Management, Order Management, Inside Sales, Demand Management (Forecasting), Warehousing, Distribution, Imports/Exports, Customer Services. Background within industrial or retail segments, not necessarily from automotive.
  • Minimun 6 years o f experience managing diverse teams (in terms of location, culture, function, age, gender etc.). Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a matrix organization (influencing without traditional authority).
  • Financial Knowledge - Solid understanding of financial tools and processes required to run a function / line of business. Ability to interpret and use financial data.
