Your tasks

The Tire Research and Development department at our location in Hanover-Stöcken is responsible for the quality of our development processes.

In this exciting environment, we offer a mandatory internship starting beginning of June 2026, with the option to follow up with a thesis project. For the best possible learning experience, the internship should be 6 months long. A combination of voluntary and mandatory internships is feasible, with the mandatory part lasting at least 12 weeks.

Tasks include:

  • Collaboration in the further development of quality-related trainings, including support in the implementation
  • Participation in the improvement of the product development process of tires based on analyses of the existing data, e.g. on the development results and market performance
  • Support in the development of meaningful quality indicators
  • Collaboration in the further development of Continental knowledge management (Yokoten)

Your profile

  • Students (m/f/diverse) in the field of mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, mechatronics or comparable study programs
  • Specialization or strong focus in Data Science or Quality Management is preferred
  • First experience with data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Basic knowledge of database systems
  • Confident handling of MS Office-applications
  • Very good language skills in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Collaborative mindset
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Systematic and organized work style
