Maintenance Technician -CU/FF
Your tasks
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of production machinery through maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role plays a critical part in maintaining high-quality standards, minimizing downtime, and supporting overall production efficiency.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on production machines to ensure smooth operation.
- Identify potential breakdowns and replace or adjust machine parts as needed.
- Implement machine improvements to enhance quality, increase production levels, and reduce breakdowns.
- Maintain a high level of machinery availability to support production goals.
- Keep the workplace clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards on a daily basis.
- Execute planned maintenance activities, including preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Accurately report all performed work in SAP-PM, including work order confirmations and spare parts reservations.
- Collaborate and provide support to Continental Business Teams as required.
- Take ownership of personal safety and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Ensure accurate time attendance records.
- Report any unsafe situations or behaviors to the supervisor promptly.
Your profile
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- AAS Degree in Mechatronics or Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Maintenance with 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Proven skills in repairing and maintaining electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools, micrometers, calipers, multi-meters, and other test equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in industrial settings
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Willing to work 12-hour rotational shift pattern including days, nights, and weekends.

THE ENVIRONMENT
- Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as company issued/approved steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc. as needed in the required areas.
- The job is within a non-climate-controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise.
- The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.
