Digitalization and RPA Specialist, APAC

Your tasks

The Digitalization and RPA Specialist acts as a process mining specialist and RPA solutionist designing, developing, testing bots, and supporting the implementation of the automation solutions. Partnering with CKU and business team in requirements gathering, documenting, and recording process flows. The Developer will be expected to maintain effective communication with lines of business, while developing meaningful solutions that increase efficiency and reduce costs.

1. Strategy and Governance

Develop advanced understanding of the current digitalization and RPA implementation strategy at Continental – encompassing architecture, design, code, documentation, production release, and best practices. Assist to implement the APAC digitalization and RPA strategy to ensure other locations within region are aligned with Continental’s overall digitalization and RPA approach. 

Governance: implementation of policy and procedures for RPA in the region to be inline with central guidelines including management of authorization and access to system including core systems like SAP.

2. Process improvement

Support identification of automation opportunities through targeted reviews of prioritized business processes and systems, using data analysis tools to generate actionable insights. Act as a facilitator for a regional automation learning group within the CKU team, enabling knowledge sharing and collaboration on selected automation initiatives.

3. Collaboration

Collaborate with cross-functional business and technology teams to identify and prototype automation opportunities, supporting feasibility assessment and solution design for RPA workflows using UiPath. Act as a functional point of contact for UiPath related topics, providing guidance, training, and escalation support as required. Support tracking and reporting of benefits and cost savings from completed RPA initiatives in collaboration with business stakeholders.

4. Key user (RPA developer) community management

Establish and facilitate a regional Key User RPA community to provide platform to enable knowledge sharing, reuse of automation assets, and alignment to UiPath standards.

5. Projects

Support assessment and prioritization of automation opportunities in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders, including high level effort estimation and indicative timelines from initiation to go-live. Implement and test selected RPA processes in line with approved specifications and design standards, facilitating structured reviews at key development stages. Contribute automation expertise to international IT initiatives by acting as a consulting and advisory resource.

6. Development and maintenance of automations in Controlling Function

Develop, configure, and test RPA solutions using UiPath in accordance with approved specifications, design standards, and security guidelines.
Perform maintenance and enhancements for existing RPA bots to ensure stability, performance, and alignment with evolving business requirements.
Diagnose and resolve issues identified during testing or post-deployment, coordinating with relevant stakeholders for timely resolution.
Maintain appropriate technical documentation, including process flows, configuration details, and change records.
Support deployment activities and provide limited post-go-live stabilization support for newly implemented automations.

Your profile

1.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or similar 

2.UiPath Orchestrator experience 1-3 years. Minimum 2 years of ERP experience (Ex. Oracle, SAP FI/MM/SD/CO etc.). Strong analytical skills/knowledge of business process along with hands-on experience in modeling and analyzing business processes

3.Project management experience 

4.Experience in functional leading of international teams.

5.Good interpersonal and communication skills (e.g. Business English,  Presentations) to interact with external and internal stakeholders. Intercultural sensitivity and experience of working in intercultural teams.
Other  languages are a plus, e,g. Mandarin
