Quality Engineer (Tire Uniformity Engineer)
Your tasks
- Drive and Analyze for continuous improvement activities to maintain/improve TU/ TG/ TB yield targets.
- Steer OE and Replacement yield improvement activities.
- Provide qualified recommendations to optimize yield in order to meet desired virgin yield targets to peer and involve parties.
- Perform thorough statistical analysis, interpret data, optimize and coordinate the process via application of standard work procedures for yield management with a primary focus on Plant yield.
- Analyze, implement and track corrective/preventive actions with regards to Yield improvement.
- Quality Report and Information sharing with Supplier Chain (Plant operation) and other department.
- Implement recommendations to achieve desired virgin yield targets (TU, TG, TB).
Your profile
- Bachelor degree of Engineering or related fields.
- Has experiences from Tire manufacturing or related business.
- Has experiences in Process engineering position is advantage.
- Has knowledge of TU, Vector Separation, Knowledge of tire non-conformity root-causes.
- Has knowledge of processes and tools (QDA, FFDACS, MCAT, WAMOS, Grading, PoMS, off standard catalog).
- Has knowledge of Quality management and structural problem solving tools knowledge (8D, 4S, FMEA, 5WHY, Fish Bone).
- Able to managing a diverse team (Terms of location, culture, function, age, gender etc.).
- Ideally had exposure to international projects or worked in a cross cultural environment.
- Good in English and ability to communicate in multi-national environment.
