Global Purchasing Governance Manager (m/f/d)
Your tasks
Main tasks:
▪ Maintain and update governance-related documentation (e.g., Standards, Process Flows)
▪ Manage governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) incidents, including implementation of corrective actions as needed
▪ Review exception handling and recommend preventive measures to reduce future non-compliance
▪ Coordinate the full lifecycle of external audits—from audit notification to follow-up completion—and support purchasing colleagues throughout the process
▪ Collect, maintain, and analyze audit data; prepare reports for leadership and ensure transparent communication with the purchasing community and relevant stakeholders
▪ Act as central point of contact for governance-related topics in Purchasing
▪ Ensure alignment of governance expectations with all business units and regions
▪ Develop and deliver training programs for purchasing governance topics
▪ Organize regular governance refreshers and compliance workshops
▪ Identify process gaps and inconsistencies in governance and propose improvements
▪ Conduct self assessements to ensure ongoing compliance and identifying areas for enhancement
▪ Implement control mechanisms to reduce compliance breaches or audit findings
▪ Provide expert advice to Purchasing and cross-functional teams on governance topics
▪ Lead projects to improve and scale purchasing governance globally
▪ Contribute to cross-functional initiatives with governance relevance
Your profile
- Academic degree with technical background or equivalent
- 3+ years of professional experience in Purchasing, Risk Management, Legal Governance
- Proven experience in Purchasing functions or Project Management
- Project Management Experience desirable.
- Experienced in international cultures and business environment, preferably experience in working in international teams
