Scheduling Manager

Your tasks

Responsible for establishing sequencing strategies to develop efficient production planning with active monitoring, steering of the execution and ensuring optimal flow across manufacturing operations.
Ensures that production schedules are aligned with customer requirements, plant capabilities, capacities and inventory goals
Adapts and sustains standard sequencing and recovery planning processes for loss mitigation and increase of machine utilization.
Evaluates the team performance and supports individual development and retention. Strengthens the networking within the sequencing community.

Leadership and Supervision:

Manages the sequencing team, ensures adherence to standard sequencing and recovery processes including work instructions.
Evaluates team performance, identifies opportunities and drives continuous improvement through a defined roadmap in alignment with the plant strategy.

Production Volume:

Ensures all production areas (Curing, Tire Building, Preparation and Mixing) are sequenced and synchronized
to fulfil customer requirements while supporting the plant target production volume in the most cost efficient manner.

Capacity Levelling:

Oversees pre-planning process ensuring that all production areas are well balanced and machines efficiently utilized respecting their capacities.

Process and System Optimization:

Ensures standard sequencing processes are documented, implemented and frequently reviewed for further process optimization.
Fosters the usage of the planning system in all sequencing activities. Encourages the sequencing team including the LKU to create official requests for potential future enhancements supporting also the implementation.

Training and Support:

Identifies individual training needs within the sequencing team and establishes training plans accordingly.
Drives competencies and skills development for cross functional roles within the team.


Sequencing:

Creates and tracks Key Performance Indicators (KPI) aligned with plant strategy.
Shares KPI results and increases the performance visibility with relevant stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

Your profile

Bachelor degree in Logistics, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing

Minimum of  4 years in sequencing preferable within Tyres Industry

Advance Knowledge of SAP PP/APO
