SAP MM Consultant_OESL
Your tasks
We are looking for an experienced SAP Materials Management (MM) Consultant to design, implement, and support procurement and inventory processes within SAP. The ideal candidate will have strong configuration skills, deep understanding of supply chain and purchasing processes, and proven experience integrating MM with other SAP modules such as SD, PP, FI, and WM.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and implement SAP MM submodules including Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Master, Vendor Master, and Valuation & Account Determination.
- Design and map business processes related to procurement (P2P), stock management, and material valuation.
- Develop functional specifications for custom developments, enhancements, and reports.
- Support end-to-end SAP implementation, rollout, and upgrade projects.
- Collaborate with consultants from other modules such as FI, SD, PP, and WM to ensure smooth process integration across business functions.
- Manage integration points related to goods movement, invoice verification, and account postings.
- Coordinate with the technical (ABAP) team for interface and workflow developments.
- Provide day-to-day support for SAP MM processes including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and process optimization.
- Perform system testing (unit, integration, and UAT) and support users during cutover and go-live.
- Analyze business requirements to recommend SAP best practices and continuous improvement solutions.
- Prepare detailed process documentation, configuration documents, and end-user training materials.
- Conduct user workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfers.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM implementation or support roles.
- Deep knowledge of SAP MM configuration and business processes — including procurement (POs, PRs, RFQs), goods receipt, inventory management, and logistics invoice verification.
- Experience with automatic account determination, release strategies, batch management, and consignment/subcontracting processes.
- Familiarity with integration points between MM and other SAP modules (FI, SD, PP, WM).
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA for procurement is a strong advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into SAP solutions.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently in fast-paced project environments.
