R&D Laboratory Engineer

Your tasks

  • Run ARES machine for all required tests submitted to lab
  • Collect ARES data and process into usable results for customer.
  • Coordinate calibration and maintanece of ARES test machine
  • Update and maintain ARES testing specifications and methods
  • Solve problems with data analysis programs and update for new methods.
  •  Participation in the development of laboratory processes, including method validation and the implementation of new testing procedures
  • Perform testing in accordance with ISO, ASTM, DIN and other relevant standards.
  • Communicate with developers and, when necessary, coordinate with suppliers.
  • Perform statistical evaluations and identify trends. Provide recommendations for improvements or root cause analysis of issues.
  • Managing the calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
  • Preparing and executing tests
  • Claim topics
  • Support preparation for audits.

Your profile

  • BSc or MSc degree in chemisty, chemical or material engineering or other related technical university degree with relevant work experience (min 3 year).
  • Min. 3 year of laboratory work experience
  • Strong team player with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary R&D environment
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
  • Problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to root cause analysis and continuous improvement
