Embedded Linux Software Engineer
Your tasks
THE POSITION
- The Embedded Linux Software Engineer will work on cutting edge telematics projects and will:
- Design, implement and test new features, change requests and bug fixes for telematics products.
- Analysis and root cause of problem reports
- Estimate the efforts needed for different SW work products
- Participate in sprint planning, SCRUM and continuous improvement tasks
- Adhere to Continental's SW development process and follow ASPICE practices

Your profile
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in: Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- C/C++ development
- Software development for embedded devices
- Linux Applications development
- Experience using GIT
- Basic understanding of electrical schematics
- Willingness to travel (<10% of the time)

- Functional Safety
- Cybersecurity
- Linux kernel development/configuration
- Telematics
- CAN, LIN, Ethernet
- Agile SW development
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
