Central Workshop & Forklifts Leader

Your tasks

  • Issue procedures and work instructions, ensure implementation of measures, and maintain control.
  • Raise awareness, ensure regular ESH training and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties.
  • Ensure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting for cranes and forklifts.
  • Ensure all forklifts are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
  • Ensure cranes are available, reliable, and comply with safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and report abnormalities or defects.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams for repair schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting for material handling equipment (MHE), including cassette and green tire trucks.
  • Ensure production racks are properly maintained, functional, and safe for operational use.
  • Perform inspections to identify wear, damage, or safety concerns.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to address any equipment or rack-related issues.
  • Maintain records of maintenance and repair activities for traceability and improvement.
  • Ensure machined spare parts supply for maintenance purpose using Lathe, Milling Cutter, Welding of the workshop.
  • Ensure necessary spare parts for cranes and forklifts are available in the NPM warehouse.
  • Ensure necessary spare parts for MHE and related equipment are available in the NPM warehouse.
  • Support Utilities operators and technicians, facilities maintenance.
  • Support production machinery maintenance.
  • Directs, administrates and develops the workshop team members.

Your profile

  • Bachelor degree of Mechanical Engineering field or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge in Metal machining - Lathe, Milling Cutter, Welding.
  • Minimum 3 years experience of Fork-lift/crane maintenance.
  • Knowledge of mechanical (e.g. Pneumatic, hydraulic, lubrication, alignments) including Pneumatic, hydraulic drawings reading.
  • Knowledge of Inspection/Preventive procedures, machine-related knowledge, TPM.
  • Has knowledge of Problem solving and improvement.
  • Minimum 2 years experienced for workshop leader.
  • Good command of English.
